RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

 

ORIGINAL CASH REGISTER RECEIPT REQUIRED FOR ALL RETURNS & EXCHANGES

 

TEXTBOOKS & COURSE MATERIALS:

           

1) You must have an original cash register receipt dated no earlier than 4 weeks before class start date.  Maymester, Summer I & II will also require your student schedule.

2) Textbooks may be returned for a refund or exchange during the first 5 days of the Fall and Spring semesters. Refund period for:  Maymester - 2 days from and including first day of class; Summer I and Summer II - 3 days from and including the first day of class.

 

After return/exchange date has past, all textbook & course material sales are final.

 

To receive a refund or exchange, the following conditions will apply (no exceptions):

           

            a. New textbooks must be in perfect condition: No bent corners, no writing, no stains, no pencil markings, no bookbag scuffings, and no broken spines. Please check your textbooks when purchasing them.

 

            b. Items that are shrink-wrapped are non-returnable if they are opened. Do not remove the shrink-wrap from the book until you make sure that you are going to need it. Go to class before you open it!

 

     Refunds will be given back in the same form of payment received, i.e., if you pay with a credit card, a credit will be issued to the same credit card used for the purchase; Payment by book voucher, a credit will be placed on your account. If payment was made by check, a check refund will be issued by the USC Columbia Finance Department.

           

             

Make sure, during the first days of class, that you have the correct books and that the books you have will be used.

 

No returns are accepted for course packets, imported foreign language books, or any book or package marked “Not Returnable”.

 

Other Merchandise:

            1) Clothing/school supplies/gift items may be exchanged only 15 days from date of receipt. No cash refunds will be given. A register receipt must accompany the exchange.

            2) Software, printer supplies, and all electronics are “ALL SALES FINAL”. (Exchanges only if merchandise if defective) Please make your selections carefully.

 

Food/Snacks/Beverages:
